Local SAPS supports people with disabilities on Casual Day

The Boksburg North SAPS celebrated Casual Day in aid of people with disabilities at Wild Waters, on September 1.

The day was filled with fun and entertainment, along with team building activities and a braai.

Disabled Boksburg North community members were specially invited to the event and were each given a hamper.

The SAPS collaborated with Boksburg North CPF, EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit, EMS Chaplaincy and UDE DJ, which contributed to the success of the day.

Sgt Nick Muller and station commander Col Khubilani Mbatha officiated at the welcoming and Capt Ideon Thantsa opened the event with a prayer.
