Crocheted blankets to keep residents warm
The efforts of staff from Smart Office Connexion, in Jet Park, recently translated into the delivery of beautiful crocheted blankets to the residents of Avril Elizabeth Home, in Germiston.
Project organiser Dawn Nel delivered the blankets to the home, where she spent time interacting with the residents and having photos taken with them.
The company’s special visit and donation was rewarded with huge smiles and excitement, said Sharon Noble, Avril Elizabeth Home’s fund-raising co-ordinator.
