Small donation will make a big difference for St Francis

The St Francis Care Centre invites you to become an ”Angel of Love” this Mandela Day to its Rainbow Cottage, which provides residential care for 30 children, from newborns to seven-year-olds, all affected by HIV.

By making a pledge of R67 (or an amount of your choice) per month, you can assist the centre to do the following for the children:

* Provide residential care in a loving environment.

* Stabilise them medically and provide all medication.

* Engage them in a childhood development programme.

* Reunite them with their biological families through the centre’s family reunification programme.

* Screen and find host parents with the view to placing the children in foster care, through the family preservation programme.

You can make a lasting difference in the lives of these children, as your monthly contribution will assist the centre to create a future for them.

In addition, the Angel of Love project offers a benefit for both the centre and the supporter.

As a registered NPO, St Francis qualifies to issue you with a Section 18(a) Tax Certificate, which allows your donation to be tax-deductible – you benefit from a tax point of view and the centre benefits financially.

To register as an Angel of Love, contact Cynthia Dicks on 011 894 4151, extension 109, or email development@stfranciscarecentre.co.za.
