This is according to Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson.

“Shortly before 6pm, paramedics were attending to a minor collision on the N12,” said Vermaak.

“Due to the collision, several vehicles were stationary on the highway. It is understood that the motorbike rider crashed into the back of one of the vehicles that were stationary due to the initial collision.

“Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found the rider near his motorbike. Sadly, he sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing that paramedics could do for him.
