According to Capt Charles Tshabalala, the argument occurred during the night and it is alleged that both the deceased and the accused were drunk at the time of the altercation.
“The 23-year-old deceased was stabbed in the chest and the knife used was found on the scene. When the police arrived on the scene after they were alerted by community members, they found the man already dead,” Tshabalala said.
The suspect has since been charged with murder.
