Ché-Lee Nel (10) to launch debut album at Carnival City

Ché-Lee Nel is a professional singer, actress, model and motivational speaker. What makes all this so extraordinary is that she is just 10 years old and she is about to launch her debut album.

Carnival City will host Ché-Lee’s album launch at the Mardi Gras Theatre on February 11.

The public is urged to support this young starlet as she introduces her songs live on stage.

“Carnival City is a proud supporter of local emerging talent, so we consider it a privilege to host a little star with this much determination and passion,” said Michelle Smith, marketing manager of Carnival City.

“Ché-Lee is an inspiration and makes us look at our own lives to see where we could improve and better utilise our talents.”

Another thing that sets this little hazel-eyed, blonde beauty apart is that she is fully deaf in her right ear and 60 per cent deaf in her left ear.

Despite this challenge, Ché-Lee has been offered a recording deal with Atlantic Records in America.

She was scouted by Atlantic when she performed on stage at the International Arts showcase in Florida with over 1 000 other performers.

Nothing gets her down and no obstacle stops her from pursuing her love for singing and performing.

It seems success runs in the Nel family.

Not only does she perform, but Ché-Lee is also Miss Pre-Teen Gauteng, while her parents boast the titles of Mr and Mrs Gauteng 2016/2017.

The launch is a fundraiser and proceeds will be donated to the charity of Ché-Lee’s choice, the Role Model Foundation.
