According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, the store’s alarm went off around 1.50am.
The security responded, but saw nothing. Again, the alarm went off a while later and the Boksburg North SAPS were called out.
“Upon arrival, they investigated with the security. They climbed onto the roof and noticed a hole,” said Coetzer.
One suspect was found hiding on the roof and the other was found inside the shop. The suspects were found in possession of a bag with a grinder and other tools.
The suspects were detained at Boksburg North SAPS.
