Efforts underway to get the water restored in Boksburg
Residents in as many parts of Boksburg have been without water since yesterday, November 7.
According to Siphokazi Gunya from the Department of Water and Sanitation, the affected areas were already without water yesterday on November 7 in the afternoon following the shutting down of water in the evening (water shedding).
“The Boksburg area was affected when Rand Water switched off the pumps in Swartkoppies, which resulted to some parts of Boksburg being without water.
“The team is trying to get the water restored and the line is busy filling up,” Gunya said.
