St Dominic’s girls shine like stars

St Dominic's Catholic School for Girls is proud of the following learners, who achieved in various divisions.

Chess

Erna Ngoma (Grade 11) has been selected to play chess for both Eastern and Southern Gauteng.

She is playing inter-provincial tournaments for Ekurhuleni and is playing in national tournaments for Sedibeng.

Grade Four pupil selected for East Rand Youth Orchestra

Tertia-Lee Knight, in Grade Four, has been selected to be part of the East Rand Youth Orchestra.

The majority of members of the orchestra are in high school.

Only three members are primary school learners and Tertia-Lee, a violinist, is one of them.

Music

Madeline Scrase, in Grade eight, passed her UNISA Grade Five piano examination with a distinction of 87 per cent.
