BREAKING NEWS: Police search for woman who was gang raped, thrown down mine shaft
Police are searching for the woman who was abducted and gang raped in the early hours of Sunday (September 25).
Reporting from the scene, Advertiser reporter Fanie Mthupha, said police are still searching for the victim at the mine dump close to the railway line.
Police have so far arrested three men who are alleged to be behind the abduction and rape of the Angelo informal settlement woman.
It is understood that the suspects informed the police that they have thrown the woman down a shaft after raping her.
It is not yet known whether the victim is dead or alive.
The men abducted the woman from her shack.
