The Tribe celebrates Spring in style

The Tribe Spring Festival had the public and motorcyclists come out in their numbers at MF Auto Repairers (parking area) recently.

The festival was presented by The Tribe Harley Riding Club, in conjunction with The Revere Lounge and Restaurant.

The Tribe originated in March this year and currently stands at about 78 members.

“We (The Tribe) are a family-orientated Harley-Davidson motorcycle club and our objective is to have fun, live life and ride free,” said the club’s assistant director, Leandri Bosch.

The festival was held to give back to its members. It was open to bikers only and the public and was kiddie-friendly.

“We want to break away from the negative bikers stigma,” said Bosch.

There was loads of entertainment at the festival, from a jumping castle for the kids and various competitions to be won, to live music entertainment.

The three bands that performed on stage were Breaking Static, Summit and Seven Side Story.

DJ Dragon also kept the party lively.

Part of the profit made on the day will go towards charity, specifically the vulnerable elderly and vulnerable children.

On behalf of The Tribe motorcycle club, Bosch would like to thank Ivan Ivanov, owner of Revere, and Red Square for making the festival possible.
