The afternoon joint operation led to the arrests of three suspects for sexual assault, one for possession of drugs, two for dealing in liquor without a valid licence and two drunk drivers.
Led by Boksburg SAPS’s Capt Nkululeko Nase, the members also seized large amounts of alcohol from three troublesome illegal shebeens in Angelo informal settlement, arresting the operators.
A few days prior to the June 3 crime operation, Boksburg police officers also conducted a roadblock on Main Reef Road, near the Angelo Hotel. -@FanieFLK
