Youth Alive gospel dance competition a groovy success
New Beginnings Foundation Youth Alive dance competition attracted thousands of gospel music lovers, who braved the cold weather, on Sunday, May 29.
A total of 14 finalists danced their hearts out to impress the judges and the crowd to win the grand prize.
Only five teams were selected and the top three winners were Kingdom Seekers (third) followed by Little Saints, with Ubumbano being crowned winners of the grand prize of R5 000.

Little Saints from Windmill Park said that it was their first time participating in a dance competition and they are very happy they did so well.
The event was not just about dancing, but also spreading the Gospel.

Jabu Bkabinde, managing director for Ubumbano said the prize money will go towards the upliftment of the group.
This concept of the programme originated in Samoa and brought to Boksburg by Samoan missionaries.
It is all about young people using their talents to praise God through artistic means, such as song or dance.
