Girl (13) struck by car on way to school
A 13-year-old girl has sustained minor injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on her way to school this morning.
This accident happened at about 7.30am on Elsburg Road in Reiger Park.
Netcare 911 media liaison officer Athlenda Mathe said reports from the scene indicate that the girl was on her way to school when the incident occurred.
Netcare911 paramedics treated the girl for minor injuries on scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Mathe said the exact detail as to how the accident happened will form part of a SAPS investigation and comment.
