The sentence was handed down in the High Court, sitting in Palm Ridge on April 5.
Van Dyk Park resident Candice Prevost, her fiancé Ashley de Villiers and former fiancé Wayne Williams were each handed a life sentence for the murder.
It is also reported that the three were sentenced to a further 15 years each for robbing Selesho of over R300 000 worth of jewellery at the time.
Media reports quoted acting judge Andre Petersen as having said that he “could not find compelling and exceptional circumstances that would justify the deviation from handing down life sentences to the trio”.
Ealier in the week, Prevost’s offer to help to educate the child whose mother she killed was reported to have been angrily rejected by the child’s father, who said he didn’t want her money.
