Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, has confirmed the incident.
A docket was opened at the Boksburg North SAPS, but no arrests had been made at the time of publication.

According to Coetzer, the alarm was activated when the doors of the shop were closed at around 6.50pm, on April 1.
“When staff opened the shop on April 2, at 7.30am, they noticed that the shop had been broken into,” she said.
It is unclear if the alarm was triggered at the time of the burglary.
An undisclosed amount of clothing was stolen.
The case is being investigated.
