According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, the operational team visited what they believed to be problematic liquor outlets and pubs in the Section 4 area.
“The premises and people were searched with the police maintaining a high visibility in the area.
“The presence of the blue lights and members patrolling the streets had a big impact on the area on the night,” says Coetzer.
The team was able to seize 22 packets of CAT, 16 packets of dagga, seven tablets and one drug urine test.
