Eight teachers from Boksburg High School received Ekurhuleni South District Awards on January 28.

The teachers were recognised as the best educators in the district for their respective teaching subjects.

Alet Venter and Maxine Furnell received awards for history, Michelle Cox received an award for engineering graphics and design (EGD), Margaret Breytenbach and Tracey Spencer received awards for life sciences, Rochelle Smith received an award for computer applications technology (CAT) and Ilana du Plessis and Jennie Giangregario received awards for mathematics.
