Meet CBC’s students leardership team 2016

Christian Brothers College (CBC) has introduced its head boy for 2016, Austin Teixeira, and deputy head boys Siphesihle Ndlovu and Scott Schultz.

They are joined by the heads and deputy heads of each of the school’s four houses.

The college has a unique house tutor system consisting of four houses – Aquinas, Edmund, Founders and Revill, with each house having four tutor groups of approximately 20 boys each.

Each group is a mix of high school boys in Years Eight to 12 (matric).

The system is successful in seamlessly integrating the Year Eight boys into the high school, with the older boys in the roles of mentors.

Competition between the houses is keen, in academics and sport, as well as service within the community and to the school.
