The former learners, Bongani Simelani and Thankiso Malinga, who are part of a VW crew (a group of people who drive VW cars), together with their friends raised funds to buy uniforms for the fortunate children selected from the school’s based support team.
“We wanted to give back to the community and so we thought the best way of doing so was by donating school uniforms to disadvantaged children,” said Lehlohonolo Mohobo, a VW crew member.
Principal of the school Oscar Lekoane said they are very pleased with what these former learners and their friends have done in the lives of the children.
