The complainant was busy at a photo shop, in the East Rand Mall, at around 11.30am, when a customer came in and requested that photos be downloaded and printed from his cellphone.
According to Boksburg North SAPS communications officer Lieut Juanita Coetzer, while he was downloading the pictures, the complainant noticed some naked photos of a very young girl.
“The complainant asked the customer who the girl was and he replied that it is his daughter,” said Coetzer.
The Boksburg North SAPS were notified and the suspect was arrested.
A case has been opened for Contravening Section 20 of Act 32 of 2007.
The suspect was detained at Boksburg North Police Station.
