This was done in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, held annually in October.
More that 1 200 pupils, as well as staff members from both the school and the library, dressed in pink-and-black outfits and sold ribbons to raise money for Cansa.
Bright pink cloths were also sold to participants, who then wrapped them around trees at the school and the library, as well as surrounding areas.
Attendees also held a remembrance ceremony for all those affected by cancer.
At the same time, staff and children at the school used the occasion to remember and celebrate the birthday of their late former principal, Helen Johnson, who died of cancer in 2012.
The sea of pink participants also embarked on an awareness walk within the school premises and released hundreds of pink balloons as a symbol of respect for cancer survivors and those who died of it.
Pink ribbons are the international symbol of breast cancer, with the colour pink also representative of the cause.
According to Joan Moosa, a teacher at the school, all the funds raised will be donated to Cansa.
