
For 2014/2015, 213 crimes relating to drugs have been reported to the station, which is the same as for the period 2013/2014.
What is most worrying is residential burglaries (where no violence occurred), which are at 562 cases.
The number of murders committed have been fluctuating since 2010, but, according to the latest figures, there has been a spike of 43 murders, compared to the 29 of the previous year.
Attempted murder cases reported in Dawn Park also remain of concern. In 2013, 36 cases were reported, followed by 46 in 2014 and 34, so far, in 2015.
Violent sexual offences stand at 81 cases, a drop from the 102 recorded in 2013/2014 .
When it comes to other violent crimes, the aggravated robbery total is down to 266 incidents, from 288.
Carjackings have remained an issue in Dawn Park over the last five years. In 2013, 66 cases were reported, followed by 117 in 2014 and then 87 for the 2015 period, so far.
Business burglaries increased to 29 cases, from 26 in 2013/2014.
Good news, however, is that public violence (one case), negligent and ill-treatment of children (two) and kidnapping (six) have shown a decrease.
Culpable homicide also decreased, sitting on 15, which is a drop of two incidents.
