Ekurhuleni Emergency Services spokesperson William Ntladi said the Leon Ferreira Fire Station received a call at around 7am regarding the burning car.
“When they arrived at the scene the car was already engulfed in flames,” said Ntladi.
He said there was one person in the vehicle when it caught fire and she managed to escape unscathed.
The car was burnt beyond recognition.
It is still unknown as to what could have sparked the fire.
