The complainant told police that she left her house on April 9, at 4.30pm, and returned on April 10, at 11am, only to find that her house door had been forced open.
“The complainant discovered that her laptop was missing,” said the Boksburg North SAPS’s Lieut Juanta Coetzer.
Coetzer said the complainant did some investigating and then discovered that her laptop had been sold to a pawn shop by a friend of a friend who used to live with her.
The case was opened and the investigation led to an arrest.
Police are conducting further investigations.
