Man stabbed to death following robbery at his house

The man and his wife were locking the main gate at their Dawn Park home at around 9pm, when they were suddenly approached by two men armed with firearms.

“The couple were held them at gunpoint and ordered into the house,” said Sgt Rufus Tema of the Dawn Park Police Station.

“The suspects took the couple’s cellphones and the keys to the family’s VW Polo.

“They ordered the husband to get in the car and left the scene with him. The men then drove to an open field were they stabbed him multiple times,” he said.

No one has been arrested as investigations continue.

The man’s wife was left unharmed.
