The complainant was sitting on the corner of First Street and Ninth Avenue, next to a supermarket, when an unknown man approached him just after 2pm on August 31.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the suspect was carrying a black plastic bag out of which he produced a pellet gun.
“He asked the complainant if he wanted to buy the pellet gun,” said Coetzer.
“Suddenly the man pointed the gun. The complainant tried to run away, but the man fired a shot at him.”
The police were called and a case was opened. The suspect was arrested and the pellet gun confiscated. – @IschkeBoksburg
