Acting on a tip-off, the store was raided at around 10.45am.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieutenant Juanita Coetzer, grinders and other cutting instruments to clean cables were also seized.
“In one room officers found cables that were placed upright against the wall, with beer crates placed in front of the cables to hide them,” said Coetzer.
