Woman stumbles upon body; appeal to identify deceased

A woman stumbled upon the body of a man, on the ground behind the residential houses in Delmore Gardens, on Thursday morning, July 23.

She was, at the time, walking along the path which leads to the Angelo Railway Station.

The man was declared dead on the scene. He had no visible wounds or injuries, but his ears were reportedly emitting blood.

Police are treating the death as unexplained, and are still working to determine what led to his demise.

They are appealing for information to help to identify the man, described as being black and apparently aged between 25 and 30 years.

He was wearing blue business suit trousers, a black jacket and dark boots.

Anyone who has a missing relative or friend matching the description is asked to contact the investigating officer,W/O Bradley Jacobs, on 011 916 7000.
