Body of man found in Farrar Park

A man has been found dead with a stab wound to his chest on Rondebult Road in Farrar Park.

According to the Boksburg SAPS spokesperson, Lieut Kwndzakwakhe Ngobese, the body of Calton Conge was discovered lying on the roadside at about 11.20pm, on Sunday, July 12.

“A patrolling police officer became suspicious when he noticed legs sticking out of the long grass. The officer investigated and found an unresponsive man lying on the ground, facing down,” said Ngobese.

Conge’s body was taken to Germiston state mortuary, and it is understood that he was working as a gardener at a house in Farrar Park before his death.

An ambulance was called to the scene and paramedics certified the Conge dead at the scene.

Detectives are investigating a murder case but no one has been arrested yet.
