2015 Centrum Guardians: Guests participate in demonstrations (1)

The 2015 Centrum Guardians finalists were introduced by former iconic Carte Blanche presenter Ruda Landman, during the launch which was hosted at the Leon Ferreira Fire Station, on July 1. During the unveiling of the finalists, guests also had the opportunity of taking part in practical emergency and rescue demonstrations.

For her bravery and quick thinking in dealing with a shack fire, Cynthia Maqungu (right), from Ramaphosa informal settlement, has been selected as a finalist in the 2015 Centrum Guardians Campaign. One of the victims whose life she saved, Maria Shilaluke (left), said she was deeply grateful about this experience.
