Boksburg North SAPS Lieut Juanita Coetzer said two armed men entered the shop at around 8.30am and held the cashier at gunpoint.
“They first took money from the cash register before forcing the cashier – a man – into a back office.
“The cashier was manhandled in order to get access to the safe.”
The men took undisclosed amount of money and four new cellphones from the safe.
No one has been arrested and police are still investigating.
