Boksburg Printers help warm up the needy

Boksburg Printers, in partnership with Potters House Ministries, hosted their second annual winter blanket drive on Saturday, June 13, at the Reiger Park Civic Centre.

The drive was aimed to help the needy people of Reiger Park to survive the winter chill.

About 80 elderly people, mostly grandmothers and great-grandmothers, received two blankets each in order to help them keep warm.

Clr Charles Crawford spoke on the importance of the elderly in the community and emphasised that they can teach the young how to live honourably.

The managing director of Boksburg Print, Andrew Tinker, touched on the importance of community development and role of corporate SA in it. He also mentioned that Boksburg Print is committed to Reiger Park’s development. – @NalediBoksburg
