Over 200 vehicles gutted by fire at EMPD impound In Boksburg
More than 200 vehicles were gutted when a fire broke out at the EMPD impound lot next to the Boksburg Licensing Department, this evening (May 25).
The fire apparently originated from a nearby veld and then spread to the premises, resulting in the vehicles catching fire.
Ekurhuleni Emergency Services spokesperson, William Tladi, confirmed the incident and added that the fire had been contained.
