Get ready for Tekkie Tax Day

After you have purchased the sticker or laces, you will be allowed to wear tekkies on Friday, May 29.

The sticker or laces can be purchased at the Brakpan SPCA, Sherwood Pick n Pay, Benns Pharmacy, Hoërskool Stoffberg, Brakpan Garden Centre and Jacks Paint.

Last year R4.8-million was donated to various welfare organisations through Tekkie Tax Day.

Community members are also encourage to do their share for animals at the Brakpan SPCA, by taking a dog for a walk, donating a tin of cat/kitten food, or buying a bunch of carrots for the donkey and pony.
