According to the Reiger Park SAPS spokesperson, Sgt Mashudu Phathela, police officers, who were patrolling the area, found the body of 57-year-old Maria Mofokeng lying on the ground, on March 8.
It was later established that she was a resident of Ramaphosa, and it is suspected that she was hit by a vehicle.
An inquest docket was registered.
