Swift work by the SAPS lead to arrest of wanted suspect

Swift work by the Boksburg North SAPS led to the arrest of a housebreaking suspect on January 21.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, warrant officers Rudie Bezuidenhout and Anton du Plessis were working in the Boksburg North area when they were approached by community members.

“The members pointed out a suspect who was in possession of a stolen bicycle, which was stolen earlier in a housebreaking that took place in Tenth Street.

“The white male (34), was arrested and brought to the Boksburg North SAPS where he was then detained.

“During further investigation, it was found that he is a wanted suspect for a Germiston case of forgery and fraud.”

The suspect will be answering to both these cases in the Magistrate Courts soon.
