Witfield boy (1 ) drowns in swimming pool

According to Chris Botha from Netcare 911, the boy (1) tragically drowned in a residential swimming pool in Boksburg this afternoon, November 12.

“Exact detail as to how the child landed in the pool will remain a subject for police investigation,” says Botha.

“Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the family in the driveway trying to resuscitate the child.

“Tragically after medics examined the baby it was found that he had passed away before our arrival.”
