Drug lab busted in Boksburg North
Approximately 1kg of white powder and 7g of Crystal Meth were seized when the SAPS raided a drug lab in Boksburg North.
Sgt Martin Rikhotso and Const David Makung of Boksburg North SAPS were on patrol in sector on Saturday, December 6.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, they raided a house in Sixth Street, Boksburg North, suspected of being a drug den.
“They not only found drugs but also equipment used to manufacture drugs; this included frying pans, empty drums, dryers, along with cellphones, car radios, DVD players and speakers.”
Coetzer says the premises is a hotspot for criminal activity.
