Giving the homeless a wonderful Christmas
The Helping Hands For The Homeless organisation will be hosting a mini Christmas Festival for the homeless on December 17, in Van Dyk Park.
According to the event organiser, Beanca Smith, the festival aims to make a difference in people’s lives, who are truly in need of help.
The organisation collects blankets, food, clothes, shoes, toiletries and gift packs for the homeless families.
Performing at the Christmas festival will be artists such as JP White, Zane B and Morne Lesley, among others.
“I know a smile you caused is a smile worth while,” she adds.
People may contact Smith on 076 119 2122 to donate to her cause. The event will start at noon until 6pm. – @NalediBoksburg
