R150 000 reward offered for info on murder

The SAPS has confirmed that a R150 000 reward is being offered can lead to arrest of those responsible for the murder of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa during house robbery.

The incident happened at around 8pm on Sunday evening in Zamo Section in Vosloorus.

Reports by the SAPS indicate there were seven people inside the house during the robbery.

Two suspects went into the house, while one remained outside. The three fled on foot after the shooting.

Senzo Meyiwa was declared dead on arrival at hospital.

General Riah Phiyega, the national SAPS commissioner, will be briefing the media at noon today.
