Zimbabwean arrested for dealing in dagga

The EMPD’s Crime Prevention Unit arrested a Zimbabwean man for possession of dagga on Rondebult Road, at 6.30pm, on October 21.

According to Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD, the man was acting suspiciously and was seen meeting several people and exchanging some items with them.

“He was approached by EMPD officers and was found in possession of dagga.”

The metro police confiscated 34 small packets of dagga rolled in foil paper valued at around R350.

“The 35-year-old man was charged with possession and dealing in dagga at Boksburg SAPS, and he is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon,” says Supt Kgasago. – @CarmenBoksburg
