Pink Tie raises awareness about breast cancer

On Saturday evening, October 18, Emperors Palace’s Centre Court was once again the venue for the annual PinkDrive Pink Tie Dinner.

The event helps raise funds to support the PinkDrive mobile breast check units, as well as educational cars that provide much-needed free breast testing and education throughout South African, driving home the fact that ‘Early Detection Saves Lives’.

Among the VIP guests in attendance for this worthy event, which helps raise funds for the PinkDrive mobile breast check units, were (from left) Gauteng MEC for Agriculture, Rural and Social Development, Faith Mazibuko, deputy minister of Social Development, Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu and deputy minister of Health Dr Joe Phaahla. With them is the driving force and founder of the initiative, Noelene Kotschan (second left).
