Catch your ride only at the taxi rank
Due to the current restructuring of taxi ranks, the Reiger Park Taxi Association has decided commuters must now walk to their respective ranks to catch a taxi to their destinations.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but our taxis will continue transporting people from Ramaphosa Extension five to Reiger Park, East Rand station, East Rand Mall, Boksburg North, Sunward Park, Benoni and Boksburg town, vice versa,” says Mike Sultan, PRO for the association.
Reiger Park commuters can catch taxis to their destinations at the Reiger Park Taxi Rank located behind the Reiger Park police station. Meanwhile, Ramaphosa residents can take their taxis outside the Ramaphosa Taxi Rank, still under construction.
Sultan adds that the reason for the restructuring is to improve their service, adding that their taxi drivers are also undergoing customer care training.
