Battle of the bands held in Parkrand

Five bands went head-to-head in a battle of the bands held at Parkrand Primary School, on Saturday September 6. The contestants performed for music fans and a panel of judges. They played a three-song set each, and were judged on their third songs. The competition ended on a high note, and a band called 'Not Bob and friend', a pair from Pretoria, won the battle.
