A witness told police officers that the victim was stabbed to death by another woman known to the residents of the area.
The alleged killer fled the scene after the incident.
It is understood the incident began inside a shack and continued outdoors, on Sunday afternoon, Septembers 7.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene, and her name has not yet been released. More details to follow soon.
