Charity organisations take hands to aid families

The blankets were sponsored by ADP Services.

This is a project Solidaritet takes on annually.

According to the vice-chairperson from Solidariteit Boksburg, Amanda Zeelie, the blankets will be distributed among 42 families, and the rest will be distributed among informal settlements.

“Even though we’ve got 42 families under our care, we try to give each person in a family their own blanket,” says Solidariteit Boksburg chairperson, Alida Reede.
