Stop signs replaced following crash

The metro says its team is currently replacing stolen stop signs in the Boksburg North area.

This follows the accident on the corner of Charl Cilliers and 14th Avenue during July, where a Kia Picanto crashed into a resident’s wall.

The accident was allegedly due to the fact that there was no stop sign at the intersection.

Metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe says the stop sign at the intersection has been replaced.

Gadebe says the stealing of Stop signs is an ongoing practice in the Boksburg North area. -@TumeloBoksburg
