Elwin Morris, the heartbroken father speaks out about the event that changed his family’s life completely.
A hijacking left four-year-old Taegrin Morris dead, after he was dragged outside the hijacked vehicle for 8.5km to Boksburg, attached to the seatbelt. The vehicle was then abandoned.
Family spokesperson Michael Kotaan says the mother attempted to take the child out of the car before he was dragged, hanging from the seatbelt out of the hijacked car, from Reiger Park, to Boksburg.“She pleaded with the suspects to allow her to take the child out of his car seat. As she tried pulling him, the buckle got jammed, and the hijackers closed the door and sped off,” explains Kotaan.
