Karatekas vaar goed
Members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club, Christopher Anthony (right) and Laura Beamish (middle) participated in the recent Zone 6 Sub-Saharan African Tournament in Lusaka, Zambia.
Laura placed second in the u-50kg women’s Kumite (fighting) division and Christopher placed third in the u-84kg men’s Kumite (fighting) division.
The two, who are trained by Sensei Chris Anthony (left), were recently awarded their national colours for karate by SASCOC.
